We think it’s important to say that starting a retail company is no easy feat. It involves guessing what and when your customer wants a product. Sometimes we get it right, and sometime we get wrong. But having a fashion company that is not only ran by women founders for products that are marketed and sold towards women help make some decisions common sense. Such as promoting body positive messages and a culture that is inclusive in it’s marketing efforts.
Often fashion industry experiences the backlash of promoting women in a sexist, non inclusive way. We must remember these companies are most of time founded by men. But as time changes and more women founded fashion company emerges. Companies like ours founded by a minority woman truly understand the message that when beauty is standard it is boring*. Most importantly, all beauty is beautiful and all women are divine.
